Retro platformers are currently my bag now, and 0 Degrees looks set to be one such game that’s on my platforming wishlist.
The latest from Eastasiasoft, who recently released Rift Racoon, it’s out today for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. Offering 40 levels of single-screen action, it’s a simple set-up but a challenging one – much like the title mentioned above.
Your role is to create ice blocks, then stack them or throw them on top of traps or trigger switches so that you can reach the stages exit portal and go back home for a cuppa.
Besides solving the puzzles in 0 Degrees, you can also collect a series of unique crystals and set some new ‘best times’ to brag to your mates. It’s clear what kind of game this is, and it appears to do it well!
And a trailer?
0 Degrees is out today on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
