Two Hit Akupara Games Coming To Switch

A double whammy for fellow Akupara Games fans with a Nintendo Switch: both Behind The Frame The Finest Scenery and GRIME will be heading to the device in 2022.

The first title, Behind The Frame (shortened for energy levels) is a tale of an aspiring artist looking for their muse or some inspiration to finish off their masterpiece. 

It’s been compared to a Studio Ghibli production, perhaps because of the gorgeous art, or maybe it’s the beautiful storytelling in this puzzle-based experience. Regardless, it’s a beautiful title, and Switch owners should put this on the list with their art supplies.

Akupara Games’ second title is the Souls-like game GRIME. Another slightly enigmatic piece of storytelling from the same raconteur campfire as Dark Souls, GRIME follows a rock formation as they evolve on screen, with the intent of ascending to the stars.

Again, like other titles of its ilk, there are bonfire equivalents, levelling up, multiple weapon ‘builds’ and some pretty tough bosses that will give you a run for your money. It’s a 2.5D game too, and it works rather well. Read some more words.
