Arboria Release Date Confirmed
Arboria gets a release date, and it’s only a matter of weeks to get stuck into this rinse-repeat rogue-like, with a very familiar Dark Souls type setup.
- A Q&A With imaginarylab, Creators Of Whirlight – No Time To Trip
- The Best Of Two Worlds In Shin Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town
- Blood Hunting Is Dark And Dangerous, This Summer On PS5
- Age of Defense Review: This Takes Ages
Well, it’s not as ambiguous as the reference as Yotun warrior will be accompanied by a loudmouth fairy, and there’s not much to decipher either: hack and slash your way through the dungeons and do the Godz proud.
Key features include:
- Descend into Durnar—explore procedurally generated dungeons and make sure the greatest threat you find there is yourself
- Use a range of Symbiotic Weapons and Bio-Mutations—gotta find them all
- Unlock new traits and mutate to become stronger—power up future warriors, even if your severed head will only watch them from a jar at the graveyard
- Face a gazillion unique enemies and bosses—Durnar is dark and full of terrors
It took a bit of time for Arboria to grow on me, but by the time the demo ended, I couldn’t help but want more of the same thing – only with more weapons, levelling up, and a bundle of Veri to give to the tribe. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, read the Arboria preview from a week or so ago.
Here’s another trailer in the meantime:
Arboria is developed by Dreamplant Studio, and published by All in! Games. You can pick this up for Steam from the 9th of September.
