Arcade Archives Vendetta Out Now On PS4 and Switch

If your memories of arcades were sweaty, noisy enclaves of joy rather than a Netflix documentary, you’ll be pleased to hear Arcade Archives Vendetta is out on the PS4 and the Switch.

Not sure what Vendetta it is? It’s a classic side-scrolling beat ’em up in the style of Final Fight, featuring four badasses as they stomp through the streets, cracking skulls. The Vendetta machine was in my local arcade and was a go-to every time, picking the Hulk Hogan character or Mr T as.. well; it was the 90s.

Published by Hamster as part of the Arcade Archives series, this brawler was a game by Konami and supported up to four players (on an arcade, it was wicked!). The plot is familiar: save your friend’s younger sister from the Dead End Gang using your brawn.
