Away The Survival Series PS5 Is As Nature Intended
Before Sir David Attenborough was a twinkle in his parents’ eyes, nature existed. It was also when a news piece was run on Away The Survival Series that was coming to PS4 and PC in early 2021.

Well, Breaking Walls has revealed that the PlayStation 5 is getting its day in the Summer as the game will be released then, along with the other versions.
The relevance of the PS5 version (besides actually having something that’s suited to the platform and not just about backwards compatibility) is it offers the highest graphical setting in the Documentary Experience mode.
This complements the newly revealed Photo Mode, where you can freeze the sugar glider mid-motion with the option to tinker with the depth of field and various other sliders. Based on the visuals in Away The Survival Series, you could even palm this off as a professional piece of work, right?
But what is the game about, in case this is all new to you? It’s effectively an interactive nature documentary as you sneak past predators and hunt down prey – all to the beat of a narrator covering your every move. Before interactive elements sound like pre-defined moves, they aren’t. Away The Survival Series has the same freedom as any other third-person adventure. The developer team consists of veterans who worked on Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia and Far Cry.

Away The Survival Series is not just for the PS5, but PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will launch all at the same time in later Summer 2021. More updates as and when.
