Good morning Monday, it’s looking like an excellent start to the week. Here’s some news. On Friday, we had a discount on Baobabs Mausoleum Country Of Woods and Creepy Tales, available for all platforms.

Now, you already know about Creepy Tales as you’ve read the review, but as for the other one… this is from Celery Emblem and Zerouno, and comprises all the episodes of Waracio Walpurgis’ adventure, optimised for the current line up of consoles and PC

If you’re wondering who that is, Walpurgis is an FBI agent. And an eggplant (aubergine if you’re in Blighty). I’m not going to pretend I was all-knowing about the game, but if you have a look at the trailer further down, you’ll understand why I’ve put up a news piece – it’s mad!

Featuring a pixel art aesthetic, Baobabs Mausoleum Country Of Woods and Creepy Tales draws in all the goodness of 80s and 90s films and pop culture from the era.

A bit of Legend of Zelda? How about Maniac Mansion and even Twin Peaks? You won’t be able to assess how time has passed since that sentence, but I’ve almost fainted. Some top-notch references, but does it deliver?

You can decide from the trailer and further research. If you’re patient enough, perhaps I’ll review the game very soon?

Baobabs Mausoleum Country Of Woods and Creepy Tales is available for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
