The last one may not be so familiar as they’re the developers of this RedDeer Games title, but what a great name, eh? Boreal Tenebrae is an upcoming adventure title with a glint of horror. In a dying town, you can shift between reality and a dark alternate world to find your missing sister, Sarah.
Sarah’s role was significant as she attempted to heal the town with a ritual, but with her disappearance, only you can do it and stop the apocalypse.
Key features in Boreal Tenebrae include:
- Classic retro-style adventures
- Horror elements and gore
- Story-driven quests with multiple characters
- Fixed-camera
- Available in 7 languages: English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
In preparation for the game, a short movie was created by one of the developers, Daniel Beaulieu. Forget a description, watch it:
Boreal Tenebrae is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. As soon as I know more, I’ll tell you!
