Burnout Paradise Remastered On The Switch

Burnout Paradise Remastered On The Switch

If you haven’t already seen the Nintendo Direct Livestream from last week, you may be pleased to hear that Burnout Paradise Remastered is coming to the Switch.

Burnout Paradise, from EA Games, was initially released back in 2008 and received a lot of praise for the new sandbox approach where drivers could go where they please, cause pile-ups in the process and tear up the city in slow motion carnage.

Burnout Paradise Remastered is an optimised and enhanced experience on the Switch running at 60 FPS and making use of the touchscreen with pinch-and-pull map control so you can navigate about touch wreaking havoc.

Also, it can be played with friends online or on-the-go as a solo effort, and includes the base game plus eight add-on packs, including:

  • Cops and Robbers pack
  • Legendary Cars
  • Burnout Bikes
  • Big Surf Island

With new locations, challenges and additional vehicles to discover, Burnout Paradise Remastered is a feature-packed racing game, and there isn’t anything else like it on the Switch at the moment other than Asphalt 9 Legends.

No release date has been confirmed as yet, but as it’s EA, we’ll be duly notified on any developments.
