Carly And The Reaperman Escape From The Underworld Release Date
At the time of writing (16:46), I haven’t put out a PSVR review, but that doesn’t stop me from covering some news: Carly and the Reaperman Escape from the Underworld is getting a physical release in March, from Odd Raven Studios.
It’s not the same Carly from iCarly. That’s the only person I know with that name. The Carly in Carly and the Reaperman Escape from the Underworld, however, is a little more badass. Well, a hell of a lot as she teams up with Reaperman to solve an array of puzzles so that they can no doubt escape from the Underworld.
The biggest selling point of the title is the co-op option. You can either play as Carly and Reaperman, controlling them individually, or with a friend. Hold on a minute: I don’t have two VR headsets! Well, hold up there for a sec, chum, as one player dons the helmet, while the other uses the TV. The idea is to encourage communication with one another, and this certainly gets a thumbs up from me. I’m a big fan of co-ops (pending there are no fallings-out).
With over 50 levels and snazzy customisations to bling up your character, this is looking like a game worth having in your collection. I missed out on the digital release, but I may as well look at getting this on disc (always a fan).
You’ll be able to buy Carly and the Reaperman Escape from the Underworld from the 6th March as a solo experience, but the more tantalising option is playing co-op play with a friend.
