Blast And Salvage To Kingdom Come, In Rogue-Like Castle Come

New rogue-like Castle Come sounds wicked. Think Howl’s Moving Castle meets Tekken, and you’re pretty much there. Hold on a minute that doesn’t sound like those two should work…

From lauflauf, you’re in control of a walking fortress and travel a bandit-infested land in search of parts and crew to expand and become the ultimate weapon. That Tekken reference comes from the 2.5D combat.

In an Attack on Titan-like situation, the land is enclosed by ‘mighty walls’ with a gate leading to the only way out. Is this to keep things in or out? Perhaps I’m reading too much into this… As Castle Come is a rogue-like, should your fortress fall, you can go back and scavenge the resources on your next run.

We’re looking forward to being able to share more about the game’s mechanics, our special take on narration and when it will be releasing, in the future.Sam Vonäsch, producer and designer

Castle Come is set for a Q2 2025 release on Steam.
