Code Vein DLC Lord of Thunder Out Now

Code Vein DLC Lord of Thunder Out Now

Playing the Code Vein demo was enough for me to go ahead and buy the game, not long after my first impressions/preview piece. In some ways, it’s like a Dark Souls game, but generally speaking, it’s a decent standalone adventure worthy of your time.

A review of Code Vein, from Bandai Namco, will follow soon, but in the meantime, we have the third and final DLC, Lord of Thunder – available separately or as part of the Code Vein Season Pass.

The latest DLC opens up a new area called The Depths with new story elements and introduces the titular boss, Lord of Thunder. As well as the new boss for Code Vein, there’s also partner costumes for Eva and Jack, plus new weapons, character creation items and a brand spanking new blood code. Oh, there’s the Horror Hunting Trials and other challenges as an incentive to unlock further goodies.

Lord of Thunder is out now as separate content, or you can snap up the Season Pass which includes the previous DLCs: Hellfire Knight and Frozen Empress. Check out the trailer below:

Code Vein’s DLC is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
