Inspired by Broken Sword, Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit gets a new gameplay trailer and confirmation of the imminent release date next month on PC.
Developed by Tag of Joy and published by Thunderful, this point and click adventure takes place as our hero Milda goes on a journey of discovery, uncovering an illustrious lineage, after receiving a letter from her estranged late father.
Having played this during the Steam Next Fest, I have to say it was a brilliant experience. It has a hint of Broken Sword, but Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit packs its own punch. Coincidentally, the game is helmed by the art director of Broken Sword 2.5.
We’ve worked really hard to create a compelling world to explore with a thrilling mystery to hook players in, so we are really looking forward to them giving it a try and we hope they will check out the new trailer in the meantime!Šarūnas Leda, Game Director
Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit is out on Steam from the 6th of May, so add it to your wishlist now if you haven’t already done so.
