Curious Expedition 2 Gets FREE Major Update

Curious Expedition 2 is already a big adventure, but now it gets a free update with the New Director content, and it’s a big deal. And again, it’s FREE.

Entitled The New Director, the update includes a new mode, The Corrupted Portal Worlds explorable biome, Pale Masks Tribe, plus a lot more. 

I was already a big fan of the first game, and Curious Expedition 2 is very much the same, with more content, polished visuals and an interesting story arc. While the main story remains the same, how you get there is always a unique experience.

The New Director content takes place after the main game with your newly appointed Director of the Expedition role. In addition, The Corrupted Portal Worlds are a network of lands affected by the purple fog where you may encounter the Duke – ‘a tentacled monstrosity with the ability to communicate with humans’. Sounds familiar.

We’ve been hard at work on Director Mode for some time now, and it’s been really fun to see how it keeps providing new challenges, even for seasoned players! Having to choose your own difficulty modifiers emphasises the strategic aspects of the game, and makes the way you build your trek much more important.
