You’ll note the lack of news posts today as been catching up with all the reviews – March is a good month. However, I insist on posting a news piece on DARQ Complete Edition, as it releases on the Switch today, with the PS5 and Xbox Series next week.

It’s a mouth-watering aesthetic, if Tim Burton-like visuals (as a quick reference) are your kind of thing, and just as attractive as it’s a game from Feardemic, who recently released One Shot Straight To Hell, and Unfold Games, the creators of this fascinating world.

In DARQ Complete Edition, you’ll get the base game, as well as two DLC adventures: The Tower and The Crypt – both boasting ‘new mysteries, puzzles, and creepy creatures’.

Unable to wake from a lucid nightmare, you play Lloyd in the game, as he’s trapped in the DARQ, incapable of escaping and facing his fears head-on. The only thing he can do is use a mixture of stealth and physics-defying exploration, hoping that it will free him from this torment.

Included:

  • DARQ – Original Game
  • The Tower DLC – Lloyd wakes up in his dreams again only to find himself in a Tower filled with many new mysteries, puzzles, and creepy creatures
  • The Crypt DLC – Another loop of nightmares continues, introducing new mechanics and puzzles in a crypt filled with dark surprises

If you haven’t come across DARQ Complete Edition, check out the trailer below to get the gist:

Out today on Switch, make a note in your calendar if you’re holding out for the PS5 and Xbox Series as it’ll be out next week. Existing PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to upgrade to next-gen for free.
