Despot's Game: Dystopian Army Builder Opens The Doors Next Month

Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder has been one of my favourite demos of late. It’s a follow-up to Despotism 3K (available on Steam for free between the 4th – 7th of August). It has the same meatbags, wicked sense of humour, and lots of Lovecraft elements.

Good news, everyone: Konfa Games and tinyBuild have confirmed the release date, and it’ll be coming to PC and consoles simultaneously. How’s that for a game of soldiers? Do you mean you don’t know what this is about?

It’s a rogue-like auto-battler where you have an expendable army of hoomans. You’ll run through multiple dungeons, similar to Smash TV, and collect an array of weaponry such as conventional ballistics to mages, fisticuffs and tomfoolery. No run is the same as you might expect, and it’s wickedly addictive.

Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder will release on the 29th of September 2022 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PS4/5, Xboxeseses AND the Nintendo Switch. In addition, it will feature a brand new expansion on release.
