Is it a coincidence that the two pet names you and your partner use has been made into a game? Dumpy & Bumpy releases today on the Nintendo Switch, and there’s not an argument in sight.

Developed by Programancer on Steam, Screenwave Media Games are on publishing duties for 80 levels of puzzles in the hope of cracking each level code and beating the evil Ghostlord.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Bubble Bobble, Adventures of Lolo, and Sokoban, players can go it alone or team up in a two-player mode – either together or against each other in the Battle Mode.

Key features in Dumpy & Bumpy include:

  • Venture across 8 colorful worlds, each with 10 puzzling levels for you to solve
  • Experience a clever take on Japanese retro-classic puzzle games. Throw and bite blocks, dodge past danger, blow up bombs, breathe fire, teleport, or even play golf
  • Work as a team in 2P mode, or mess with each other, to master gimmicks and clear stages…
  • … or duke it out in a separate VS battle mode!
