Ditching swords and axes for petrol and bumpers, Earl Vs the Mutants in an upcoming rogue-lite where you get to run down the undead (not with pithy comments, either).

When I saw the trailer for Earl Vs The Mutants, I was thinking more Carmageddon than anything else, but Falling State Inc. reckons this is Mad Max meets Vampire Survivors. That’s pretty cool.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mutant hordes, players are the titular Earl, smashing through the undead like a fist through KY jelly. An action rogue-lite, budding road warriors will unlock modifications for their cars, hunting down mutant bosses and ‘experimenting with badass custom builds’.

With Earl vs. the Mutants, we wanted to shake things up by introducing high-speed player movement and encouraging the player to ram into enemies instead of constantly dodging.
