Get Into The Mainframe, Esse Proxy Is Out Now

One of the standouts during the most recent Steam Next Fest was Esse Proxy. With arguably understated publicity, it’s now available to buy.

If you missed this the first time around, FromSouthGames‘ title is a 3D cyberpunk shooter from a top-down perspective. When I originally played the demo, I compared it to Ghost In The Shell with its high-end presentation and gritty, visceral appeal.

The only downside to Esse Proxy is it was bloody hard. Sure, it’s great to one-hit-kill an enemy, but it’s not nice when the shoe is on the other foot. The number of deaths incurred was pretty tragic, but it hasn’t stopped this from going on my wishlist.
