Tired of ‘Ghibli-inspired’ hyperbole? You’re in luck as the upcoming Europa, as published by Future Friends (Omno and Exo One), is a Ghibli-inspired adventure game that really does look like it’s straight from the Japanese animation studio.
Developed by indie dev Helder Pinto, you’ll play as Zee – an android searching for answers on the moon Europa, a terraformed paradise, you’ll aim to discover the origins of your creator, all the while exploring, upgrading and meditating.
Key features in the game include:
- A breathtaking world of lakes, meadows and mountains to explore, scattered with the remains of a fallen civilisation
- Free-flowing movement that empowers you to glide serenely from boost to boost, building power and momentum over time.
