Being of a particular age, the Evil Dead series was the equivalent of the office cooler growing up, and you could say that I’m a bit of a fan (I’ve still got my Book Of The Dead Special Edition DVD). So, seeing this relatively fresh after binging Ash Vs The Evil Dead on Netflix, well… the opposite of hell.
And The Chin, The King himself, is narrating. That’s right, Bruce Campbell. Sold, sold, sold.
Yes, it’s news, but this isn’t the BBC – I’m allowed an opinion. This looks groovy. Play as Ash, naturally, Kelly, Pablo (Ben Stiller’s son), Scotty and Lord Arthur. There’s even the option to drive the Delta!
With over 25 weapons in Evil Dead The Game, as well as the compulsory chainsaw and Boomstick, there’s the option to develop your characters with skill trees to help survive the night.
