Daedalic’s new puzzle adventure Fire Unghs Quest is now available for the Nintendo Switch after initially being released on Steam back in the days of the wheel, 2015.

You play the lead, Ungh, in their quest for the red flower: fire. Ungh is a neanderthal – if you’re unfamiliar with them, go to your local supermarket, and you’ll see them fraternising with the zombies.

Fire Ungh’s Quest (Switch Review): Twisted Firestarter
Letting the flame go out whilst on duty, Ungh get’s kicked out of his village and must find of source of fire to return in this puzzle game, Fire: Ungh’s Quest.

After falling asleep on his watch, Ungh has to find fire as he let it go out when on duty. Fire Unghs Quest has him travel through the Stone Age solving puzzles, a bit like a revamped Chuck Rock. Well, perhaps not, but at least it’s not The Flintstones.

Key features in Fire Unghs Quest include:

  • Text and dialogue free, and still easier than Ikea instructions
  • Coherent and intuitive controls
  • Explore a lovable, vividly animated Stone Age world
  • 10 beautifully hand-drawn maps

Naturally, you can pick this up on the Nintendo Switch, hence the news, but if you missed it the first time around, it’s also available on Steam.
