Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue Delayed On Console, Out This Month On PC
Source: Steam

Bad news, everyone: Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue has been delayed on consoles until next year. Good news, everyone: it’s still coming to Steam this month.

One of those titles on my most wanted list, the demo for this rogue-lite arcade firefighter did not disappoint. Unfortunately, that demo is no longer available, but the game is out in a fortnight on PC.

From Dejima and Thunderful Games, you play a firefighter, armed with an axe, a high-powered hose that functions as a jetpack, and only three minutes to complete the task at hand. Where’s the fire? Erm… ‘Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue‘ – it’s in the title…

Let’s not repeat a write-up on what to expect once more, as I’m hoping to have a review with you in time for release. In the meantime, here’s some info on that console delay.

We’re of course disappointed that we have to delay Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue’s release on consoles, but it’s important to us to deliver a quality title to console players and delaying those versions until 2022 is what we had to do to achieve that.

You know it makes sense. Here’s a trailer to keep you busy:

Firegirl: Hack n’ Slash Rescue is out on Steam on the 14th of December. Look out for that review!
