Despite the unusual ‘mixed’ reviews on Steam at the time of writing, Crowns & Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit was critically acclaimed with plenty of positive reviews, as per the accolades trailer. Well, it’s now on sale, so time to check it out yourself.
As Milda, you head off to Lithuania following your grandfather’s death, inherit a property, and then return home for tea the following day. Only, it’s a Broken Sword setup, and you soon find yourself in mythology, deception and lots of puzzles.

Without a doubt, Crowns & Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit is one of the best point and click adventures released in the past couple of years, and I genuinely hope this is the first in a long series. You can read my review (and walkthrough).
