Application Systems Heidelberg has a knack for narrative-driven games – their latest, developed by like Charlie, coming to PC, Mac and Linux next week is Ghost on the Shore.

An exploration game that focuses on the ’emotional ties that transcend even death’, you play Riley – tasked with uncovering Rogue Island’s tragic secret. The antagonist, if you will, is Josh – a ghost. Riley’s interaction with them will ultimately decide her fate as they explore the homes left behind.

Besides learning about the island’s history as you explore, Ghost on the Shore is a title where choices matter. You only get one chance to read dialogue, then make your decision. Best lock the doors and switch your phone off when playing!
