Golden Force Steam Release Date... Now!

This Golden Force Steam news is probably best suited for a tweet as I’ve covered the game before and reviewed it on the Switch. However, now that it’s out for Steam, if you don’t have a Switch, or missed it before, consider it for a moment.

Featuring a team of four reprobates, you battle the legions of doom (oohhh, what a rush) to reach the Demon King and save the day. Golden Force is a very nostalgic game, and while it’s a new title, it has a feel to it that you’ve played it before as if it were from the 16-bit days.

Here’s a list of the game features once more:

• 4 playable characters. Control one of the four mercenaries of the Golden Force.
• Lots of various enemies. Defeat the Demon King, his 5 Generals, and his army of Monsters.
• Enough content to keep you engaged for hours. Complete all 22 Stages across the four islands of Muscle Archipelago
• 2-player co-op mode. Wanna share your adventure with someone? Invite a friend!
• Unique platforming, hacking, and slashing. Perform complex combos, slides, crush attacks, and dash attacks. Avoid spiky obstacles, swim, and attack underwater.
• Completionist. Overcome 100% of challenges.
• Replayability. Beat your time and show your friends who’s boss.
• Just the right vibe. Enjoy colorful retro-style pixel art graphics.
