Nothing beats a garden simulator. High octane QTE, boss battles, and watching the grass grow. That’s not what happens in Grunn. On the contrary, it’s all very pedestrian and a simple case of trimming some hedges—that sort of thing.

Yeah, right. It’s not like anyone believes what Tom from Sokpop Collective says in the video further down. Sure, you have to trim the grass and water the flowers, but what happens after dark, and why have you only got a couple of days to finish everything?

Grunn Review: A Creepy And Alluring Grass Act
Grunn is in no way anything other than an ordinary garden simulator. Honest. Well, ok, maybe not so much, but.. it’s on Steam!

Key things to do in Grunn include:

  • Water the plants
  • Cut the grass
  • Trim the hedges
  • Don’t go inside the house
  • Don’t venture out after dark
  • Don’t bother calling for help
  • Have a nice stay 🙂

Meet Tom van den Boogaart:

Grunn will be released later in 2024, but in the meantime, you can play the demo now via Steam.
