Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom Physical And Digital Editions On The Switch This Month

I’m surprised I haven’t milked the “First [insert thing] of the year” line already, but Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom is the first visual novel news of the year.

As per the Eastasiasoft New Year 2024 Showcase, one of their first releases will be on the Nintendo Switch both digitally and physically via PlayAsia from the 11th January 2024 (10:00am ET / 7:00am PT / 3:00pm UK).

Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom compiles two stories from the otome genre where you play Chiziru Yukimura, following her decisions and romances near the end of feudal era Japan and her connection with the Shinsengumi.

Key features in the game include:

• Take the role of a young heroine surrounded by handsome suitors!
• Immerse yourself in a feudalistic setting inspired by the rich history of Japan.
• Explore 2 complete otome visual novel adventures and meet an unforgettable cast of characters!

Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom will be available for the Nintendo Switch in January 2024, and even if you haven’t played anything in the genre, this should be a good ‘jumping-on point for new players’.
