Hello Puppets: Midnight Show Will Broadcast Later This Year
The 80s were great, weren’t they? Just experiencing them? Try starting with Hello Puppets: Midnight Show, a follow-up to Otherworld Interactive’s previous VR game, Hello Puppets! VR.
Serving as a prequel to the above, you play as Owen Gubberson, the creator of a rapidly-failing Muppets knock off called “Mortimer’s Handeemen”. Keen to do anything to save it, he casts a spell that brings the puppets to life. Alas, that’s not such a good thing…
The puppets in Hello Puppets: Midnight Show are sadistic and will kill Owen on sight. Using stealth skills (a.k.a. hide and seek tactics), Owen has to survive and escape his beloved, evil creations.
Key features include:
- Dynamic Hide and Seek against an advanced AI that haunts you and forces you to study behaviours and adapt your playstyle accordingly
- Three distinct AI “Boss” enemies with unique behaviours, personalities and narratives. You’ll grow to fear and love their weird personalities at the same time.
- Large, complex levels full of tools to use against the puppets, hiding spots to get away, and pieces of a larger narrative for the player to put together
