Would you look at that: two news pieces in one day – must be something worth writing about? Sure is: Horizon Chase 2 is coming to PC and consoles in 2023, with Apple Arcade getting the exclusive in September.

I don’t know how you feel about it, but the original is bloody brilliant, and I love how Aquiris has managed to capture the classic arcade feel of the late 80s/early 90s without being an ‘inspired-by’ or retro title.

Horizon Chase 2 is, of course, the follow-up to the massively successful arcade racer, boasting local and online multiplayer, assembling a crew or going head-to-head. With over 55 tracks in 5 countries, the sequel will also showcase customisable cars using cosmetic items and improved stats through the world tour.

Our main focus during the development of Horizon Chase 2 was listening to the players’ feedback about the first game. The community has been supporting us for more than 7 years, and their love for the franchise deserves a new game implementing as many of their requested improvements and changes as possible, as well as adding new features that our team was eager to create.
