I’d love to take full credit for finding indie gems, but I’m really not that different to the 101 other people out there that write about upcoming titles. My Eyes is one that hit my inbox, and as it looks like a lot of fun, I will be reviewing this very soon.

From Deadly Serious Media, this is a voice-acted physics climber, which despite my gaming vintage, isn’t a genre I was familiar with until playing. Think something like the recent Eggy – a game of patience as you attempt to ascend to greatness.

Covering six maps, My Eyes is the result of wishful thinking. This isn’t a success story about the devs; instead, this is about the protagonist who wishes to have laser vision – which naturally comes true at the sacrifice of having their head severed. Nothing wrong with a little head.

I Love My Eyes Almost As Much As My Own
My Eyes review: a relatively short game that will feel mammoth based on your dexterity and patience levels.

Still, your chap doesn’t like this, you have to navigate a cave system to be reunited with your body. How might you move with a body? Like that build up repression that X-Men’s Cyclops boasts, you’ll need to release the beams; otherwise, things will heat up. As a result, the rays will launch you into the air – thus the realistic physics element.

So, My Eyes is a point and click, but not in the conventional sense?

My Eyes is out this month on Steam, and if you can hold in your anticipation in the same manner as our protagonist, you can read the review next week.
