Jump King, Hail To The King?
Out now on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is the vertical platformer (aren’t they all?), Jump King.
The Dark Souls of platforming (only saying that because the premise is brutal and the main character is a knight), the goal is to reach the top of a tower to rescue a smoking hot babe.

With only the humble jump at your disposal, Jump King sounds like Frogger for millennials, but don’t be fooled by the simple mechanics as you’ll need to charge your jumps and aim them too.
A genuine leap of faith.
Again, simplicity is further complicated or expanded upon as there is no ‘one correct path’ to follow, as you can experiment with what works for you and developing a strategy of sorts.
But expect the game to be challenging, regardless of your tactics and levels of patience.
With perseverance and a bit of luck we believe anyone can beat Jump King though! We recommend every console gamer to take up this challenge, and now you can even do it from the comfort of your own sofa!
