What’s up, swingers? Wanna relive the 60s but are not old enough to remember? Me, too. Well, perhaps Midnight Girl might be your opportunity to do so in this 2D point and click. It’s set in France too. Ooooh.

Perhaps some inspiration comes from Hergé, or even Fantômas – that would be cool, right? With a planned release date of 2022, we may just get that chance to find out firsthand.

A game I stumbled upon on Twitter, Midnight Girl follows the path of Monique – a teen tomboy who masquerades as a cat burglar in Paris. After getting caught and imprisoned (for a crime they did commit), Monique befriends a fellow thief who tells them of a precious diamond they have to have.

Setting out on a supposedly straightforward heist, they’ll travel through a catholic monastery, a Parisian metro station and the Catacombs. It’s Dan Brown with a cursor! And a little bit of Lupin too.
