Legends Of Kingdom Rush Brings Back The Heroes Of Old

The Kingdom Rush series is easily one of my favourites, so seeing the Legends of Kingdom Rush announcement for Steam was a genuine delight.

Tower defence fans need zero introduction to Ironhide Game Studio’s series, but if you’re new, it’s a fantasy-based tower defence series that innovates with new heroes, units and challenges with each iteration. This isn’t a Fast & The Furious franchise of adding a few pieces of chrome and knucklehead actors – this is the benchmark.

Summoning some of the most powerful characters from the series, Legends of Kingdom Rush is the Infinity Wars for strategy fans who’ve been following each release, only this time it’s a turn-based RPG with rogue-like elements. There are plenty of new features with this announcement, including an arena mode to compete with friends!

• Unique turn-based combat, fight on a hex-based grid and move around the combat area to add a new dimension to the encounters.
• 6 Legendary Heroes, a holy paladin, dark assassin, an evil demon, voodoo witch, a forest defender, and an elven avenger will be awaiting your command.

• 80+ achievements for you to unlock.
• Arena Mode: compete with your friends to reach the top of the leaderboard by defeating the daily challenge.
