Lucid Soul On The Lookout For Backers On Kickstarter

Always on the lookout for a good turn-based game, news got out that Lucid Soul, a pixel art anime fantasy JRPG, is currently sitting on Kickstarter waiting for some attention.

From independent developer Jon Bookout, the game will be heading to the Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series and Steam, pending it secures the funds required.

Lucid Soul is a top-down retro-style adventure where you take on the role of an evil villain as you attempt to unravel their secret past. As the developer says, “Lucid Soul is inspired by some of the most important games of its genre, such as Lunar: Silver Star, Eternal Blue, Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger“.

Key features include:

• Top-down, mature-rated, fantasy JRPG.
• Turn-based combats.
• Pixel-art, retro-like, anime visuals.
