Lumberjack Dynasty Gives Console Owners Wood This Month

Lumberjack Dynasty PS4 release date

I cut down trees, I wear high heels, suspenders and a bra… that’s what I think when I hear the word lumberjack – either that or the recent Lumbearjack (imminent review…). Let’s change that perception with Lumberjack Dynasty.

As can be surmised, Lumberjack Dynasty comes from the same stable as Medieval Dynasty (only in a modern setting), and released by Toplitz Productions. In the game, you’ll mix up forestry, logging, and a life simulation.

The adventure begins when you start managing a run-down logging camp, restoring it to its former glory, and then investing in prime timber so you can produce high-quality lumber.

Key features in Lumberjack Dynasty include:

  • Unique mix of forestry, logging, and life simulation
  • Quest driven storyline with a large open world to explore as you harvest timber and grow your business
  • A wide variety of individual characters to interact with
  • Gameplay that adapts to your burgeoning dynasty – offering new tasks to complete as your lumber empire grows
  • Skill system – learn and improve your skills to become better and more efficient
  • A dynamic economy with different products and varying prices
  • Control heavy machinery and vehicles – licensed vehicles from major manufacturers are available for you to purchase, use, maintain, and repair
  • Manufacture and sell logs, planks, bark, and other wood products
  • Repair, rebuild and expand your home and buildings
  • Take a rest from your lumberjacking and take part in other activities such as fishing, growing vegetables, collecting fruit, harvesting honey and cooking delicious meals
  • Earn social points and money to expand and develop your business
  • Find a wife and raise a family

It’s fair to assume we’re looking at a PC release, but no: Lumberjack Dynasty is for the PS4 and Xbox One, and will be available from the 30th of June, priced at €29.99. Go live out your lumberjack fantasy (that’s what the press material says, not me).
