Maneater Dominating May Waters

Finally, someone has listened and made that elusive Hall & Oates simulator as Maneater heads to consoles and PC this month.

Wait; it’s not Hall & Oates but a shark game? Ok, I’ll take that.

In the game, you play the shark in question; causing havoc for ‘innocent bystanders’.

Maneater is a game that wasn’t necessarily asked for, but playing as one of the deadliest predators on the planet, and also seeing the game in action makes you question why we haven’t had this in our life since now?

Step back Ecco the Dolphin, it’s raiding time.

Here’s what to expect in terms of the Maneater experience, courtesy of Tripwire Interactive :

• Unique Story – Play through a full narrative, story-based campaign narrated by Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty, Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock) and set against the backdrop of a reality TV show.
• Diverse, Compelling Combat – Battle fierce wildlife including other apex predators or fight against various types of human hunters ranging from town drunks all the way up to the Coast Guard.
• Evolve Into a Legend – Feed on humans and wildlife to grow your shark, and find shark loot to evolve your shark down multiple possible paths.
• Explore the Gulf – 7 large regions including bayous of the gulf coast, resort beaches, industrial docks, the open ocean and more. Experience a living world with a full day/night cycle.

Maneater is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store on the 22nd May, it’s safe to get back into the water as you’re the big fish.
