The infamous red planet – no, not Betelgeuse, that’s a star – Mars. We seem to be pretty fascinated it with it, eh? Why wait for Musk? You might explore it from your bedroom in Mars 2120.

A Metroidvania for PC and consoles, Mars 2120 is currently an Early Access from QUByte Interactive, taking you across numerous biomes blasting robots and colossal monsters while wielding elements such as fire and ice.

You play Sergeant Anna ‘Thirteen’ Charlotte and her team of space marines that answer a distress call from the colonised planets within our solar system (psst – it’s set in the future). Interesting to note: gameplay will be a non-linear approach to combat and exploration.
