MARS 2120 Has Been Delayed, So Here's A Documentary Series Instead
No, it's not the remnants of a poor taste April Fool's joke - MARS 2120 has been delayed until later in the year.
MARS 2120 is the only news article from the 1st of April that was… credible. Even so, does this game exist? Who are QUByte Interactive? Why is it a Tuesday? Where is my mind? No, this isn’t a prank, the game has been delayed until the second half of 2024.
In the meantime, the developers have unveiled a documentary consisting of four episodes that delve into an independent game’s creative and developmental process.
MARS 2120 follows a team of elite marines as they answer a distress call from Mars (we know where that leads us…). A non-linear experience follows, with elements inspired by Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Read a teeny bit more about it here.
