Marvel's Avengers: Pre-Order Options

Marvel's Avengers: Pre-Order Options

It’s a long wait until Marvel’s Avengers, from Crystal Dynamics, comes out on the 4th September, but that doesn’t mean Square Enix can’t tease us with a few editions available at launch: Earth’s Mightiest Edition and Deluxe Edition both available with the Standard Edition.

Order Marvel’s Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Edition and you’ll get yourself a 12″ statue of Captain America – a full coloured PVC model designed by Gentle Giant. If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, aside from the Deluxe Edition of the game, you’ll apparently get the following:

  • An exclusive Steelbook case
  • Hulk Bobblehead
  • Mjolnir keychain
  • Black Widow’s belt buckle
  • Iron Man’s prototype armour blueprints
  • Kamala Khan’s honourary Avenger pin
  • A commemorative Avengers group photo

How much does all this cost? £3,000. No. According to a Google search Game say they’ll be listing it as £209.99. Whether they have the exclusive, I don’t know, but there are a ‘few’ months to go until it comes out.

For the mid-range pre-order is the Deluxe Edition and that features an Obsidian outfit pack, bringing it to a total of six and a further six exclusive nameplates.

Regardless of which version of Marvel’s Avengers you opt for, pending you pre-order, you’ll receive guaranteed access to the Beta (at participating retailers), a Legacy Outfit pack and an exclusive nameplate. What the latter is, remains to be seen but wouldn’t it be nice to affix ‘The Hulk’ on your desk?

But wait: there’s more! Pre-orders on the PSN store will receive a Ms. Marvel ‘Talk to the Hand’ emote and also a dynamic DLC theme of Marvel’s Avengers. There will also be 1,000 credits that can be used for customisations, plus an exclusive Ms. Marvel nameplate.

Really, there’s so much on offer here, the only downside is the wait until the 4th September. In the meantime, keep up to date with the official site here and watch the trailer below to remind yourself why this is worth waiting for:
