Metal: Hellsinger Is Lickin' Good

Only the thumbnail and ‘metal’ in Metal: Hellsinger warranted a further inspection on this upcoming FPS, but then it dawned on me that I wrote a news piece about it back at the dawn of time.

Well, ‘things have progressed, and there’s an artist line-up for this rhythm game. Hold on: rhythm? You said it was an FPS. I did, I did! Players will execute moves (and bad guys) by timing their movements to the music. Fortunately, it’s all about the metal…

Any fellow metalhead will recognise the names and perhaps be in awe. I’m particularly stoked to see Randy Blythe featuring. If you don’t like metal, well… emphasis on the hell in Metal: Hellsinger.

The combination of metal and FPS has always worked, but how about a rhythm game? Well, B.P.M. has already done this, so let’s see how Funcom’s upcoming title pans out.
