Death to all but metal – Metal Tales: Overkill thrashes through the moshpit to a rogue-like centre stage. Hey, I’m writing this at the weekend – I couldn’t think of anything else.
From Zerouno Games, this is a 3D guitar shooter where ‘metal and adrenaline collide’. That’s a good mix, in my opinion. You’ll be battling it out to free your metal brothers from an ancient evil and secure your place as a metal god through procedurally generated levels. And there’s no sign of Ozzy in this game.
It is known that the God Kuk possesses all the guitar gods and their legions of fans, swapping them out for zombies that will wipe out ‘every original creation of metal bands and their dedicated fans’. This is clearly a disaster, so what are you gonna do about it?
