Eastasiasoft are currently one of my favourite publishers, and I’m not just saying that because of the upcoming release of Mina and Michi, or that I think they’ll read this and gush at the compliment.

Really, the quick-fire nature of these games and their chums Ratalaika Games are always a hit in this household as it doesn’t require shutting the curtains and closing off to society. Unless it’s Empire of Angels IV.
Getting to the point, Mina and Michi is a colourful ‘retro-style action adventure’, but what we really want to say is cute. Mina is accompanied by her BFF, Michi, as they solve puzzles and challenge baddies in their midst.
But what makes their friendship real swell is the ability to control them both at the same time. Now, this could be a make or break. If you’ve played In My Shadow, you’ll know that controlling two characters at once is a challenge. What could go wrong with two besties?
