After being saved by the mask of Katsuri, you must find out more about them, but your crippling social anxiety prevents that in Misgiven.
It was inevitable a game or two would be missed during the Steam Next Fest, and I’m pretty gutted that I missed out on Misgiven. The sci-fi adventure popped up in my X feed, but the demo had sailed away by the time I’d hopped onto Steam.
Still, it’s worth mentioning, and this 2D adventure is about the lump in your throat. Erm… Before you overthink that, the focus here is on the emotional response and learning how to open up to others.
This is important in Misgiven as the metropolis you find yourself in is Koriol, a city built within a giant crater shrouded by a toxic cloud. However, that’s the least of your concerns: your social anxiety prevents you from making connections, and if it weren’t for being saved by the mask of Kasturi…
But who was Kasturi? Time to find out.
