Moonlight Bay is like Dredge. Oh, a fishing-based game? Do I need this in my life right now? Probably not. That’s what I said about Dredge until a chance encounter with the DLC meant reviewing the base game, and… it was GOTY for me. Moonlight Bay is another I missed initially. Well, now it’s coming to the PlayStation and Switch next month.

A cosy fishing RPG from Bunnyhug, Thunderful, and Coatsink (Astronimo), you play a rookie angler ‘struggling to fulfil your partner’s final wish, while the town around you attempts to keep afloat in the face of impending bankruptcy’ and set out to catch fish, cook, or show them off at the local aquarium either as a solo experience or in co-op mode.

With Moonglow Bay coming to the PlayStation and Switch, an update is also included for other platforms. There’s a new POV camera mode, offering a new questline involving a long-lost sea creature. You can also decorate your shabby shop.
