Moviehouse Is An Affordable Way To Make Your Own Films, And It's Coming This Autumn

We all love movies, right? But how many of us want to make that transition and make our own? Moviehouse, from Odyssey Studios and Assemble Entertainment, is a movie-making sim, inspired by Peter Molyneux’s Movies.

A business simulator that starts in the 1980s golden era (that’s debatable!), budding filmmakers can hire talent, write scripts and even shoot potential award-winning flicks, not just catering to those god-awful critics but the fans, too.

Though Moviehouse starts in the 80s, you can ditch those perms and go for whatever the kids call those hairstyles now, as the game brings us up to the present day. Pick your crew, establish your genre, and listen to those beats: you’re making movies!

Key features in Moviehouse include:

• That’s Showbiz, Baby!: Compete in the glamorous Industry Awards showcase, vying for multiple titles, including best feature film, and set your sights on winning the coveted golden clapper
• The Tides of Change: As the decades pass, both your team and your equipment will improve. Starting off with a small amateur cast and rudimentary equipment, the studio and all those a part of it will mature and hone their skills, while new updates in technology and filming techniques grant the ability for better filmmaking!
