Mutazione has been sitting on the Steam wishlist – the pre-backlog pile – but as it’s just been released for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox, publisher Akupara Games have kindly provided a review code, so expect the review soon.

In the meantime, this ‘mysterious, musical, mutant adventure game’ is an award-winning title from Die Gute Fabrik. You play 15-year old Kai, who travels to Mutazione to care for her grandfather, Nonno.

Upon arrival, she makes new friends, plants musical gardens, goes to BBQs, band nights and boat trips, and more importantly, a final spiritual journey to save everyone from a strange darkness. After the Darkside Detective, I couldn’t think of a better publisher for this!

We are delighted to today be releasing so many exciting new ways to enjoy and explore the sights and sounds of Mutazione. By bringing the game to two new platforms: Switch and Xbox, we’re excited for new audiences to discover the thrills and spills of the compelling ensemble cast of friendly mutants.
