Is Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom Princes Edition the more popular of the two games? Popularity doesn’t qualify something as good, but the first game was the better of the two.

Still, many people enjoyed the army building, so it’s no surprise that a special edition is coming in September to the Nintendo Switch that features two DLC packs.

Developed by LEVEL-5 Inc. and published by Bandai Namco, you play Evan Pettywhisker Tildrum (hee hee), the ruler of Ding Dong Dell. However, there’s a coup, and he’s forced to temporarily vacate the throne until he can raise an army of loyal subjects that will help him seek his justice, save the people, and change his name to Chuck Spadina.

Included in Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom Princes Edition is The Lair of the Lost Lord and Tale of a Timeless Tome.

The incredible artistry and deft emotional touches of the Ni no Kuni series have made it stand apart from other action RPGs, and we’re happy we can finally let Nintendo Switch fans experience the full breadth of Evan’s adventures on the go and at home.

Ross Borden, VP of Publishing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.

Here’s a trailer:

Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom Princes Edition will be launched on the 20th August on Nintendo Switch, later for the Americas on the 17th September, both digitally and physically, and perhaps in your dreams too.
