No Rubbish Puns In This Trash Quest Announcement

I expelled my rubbish jokes during posts on Trash Sailors, so Trash Quest will have to be patient while I scrape the barrel for some wasteful puns. Does that count?

In the last four things I’ve written, they’ve all referred to Metroidvania – now it’s five! Trash Quest is a Metroidvania platformer where you play a racoon that has to battle through a maze on a space station. A space-based raccoon? It’ll never work…

Coming to consoles courtest of RedDeer Games, this is bound to be a testing title with the Metroidvania reference and, AND – zero checkpoints. That sounds harsh, but any power-ups you unlock in the game will remain.

Here are some of the key features in Trash Quest:

• Metroidvania platformer with zero checkpoints  
• Cute protagonist – you play as a raccoon  
• Dynamic action and difficult boss fights  
• Pixel art graphics and a unique soundtrack
