George Orwells Animal Farm is a masterpiece of satire. Whether you were forced to read it at school or had the pleasure of picking it up in later life to appreciate the themes, it’s undeniably a classic.

Published in 1945, Animal Farm was rejected by many publishing houses due to its criticism on Stalin, but all these years since is a timeless tale that tackles authority among other topics.

Coming to both the PC and mobile, this is a collaboration of The Dairymen and Nerial, with the full endorsement of the Orwell Estate. An adventure game at heart, players will get to decide which animals to follow and which of those should be ignored, affecting the eventual fate of the farm.

I’m going to pretend I knew that the narrator, Abubakar Salim, is also the voice of Bayek in Assassin’s Creed: Origins.

Animal Farm is a literary masterpiece which uses deceptively simple language to accurately describe the downfall of communism from the dream of equality into totalitarian oppression.
