Outrevenge Resurrection - Damn That Evil Corporation For Reanimating Life On Zitatron-3!
Cyberpunk is back, and this time it’s Outrevenge Resurrection from Steady Mushroom. That latter either sounds like a grounded fungus or perhaps it was missing a comma and actually a command? I like it.
- The Best Of Two Worlds In Shin Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town
- Blood Hunting Is Dark And Dangerous, This Summer On PS5
- In The Land Of The Rising Sun
- Kill The Shadow, Find Out Who The Mastermind Is In A Divided City
Anyways, you get to lead a Special Missions Unit to take on alien hordes, recently resurrected by an evil mega-corporation (there’s your cyberpunk reference), drawing up an army on the planet Zitatron-3.
Said corporation operate on space station Erena, and it appears that two groups are living on the station: the workers and the citizens. The latter live in luxury, while the former are in prison-like conditions. Could Outrevenge Resurrection also be a rescue mission…?
Key features in Outrevenge Resurrection include:
- Each enemy type has unique AI and abilities
- Several weapon types
- Multiple vehicles to control
- Dynamic environments
- Boss battles
- Hand-drawn animated cutscenes
You can see one of those animated scenes in the video below:
I’m getting a whiff of Alien Breed, which is a massive compliment if you ask me. The sound effects sound great, too. No launch date yet, but when I know, you’ll know.
